Zinc, Mio Urethane
Common Usage
A high performance, one-component, moisture-cured, MIO and zinc-filled primer providing excellent peformance. It is user friendly and rapid curing allowing chemical- and corrosion-resistant topcoats to be applied the same day.
Special Qualifications
Meets AISC requirements in accordance with RCSC Appendix A for Class B surface with a mean slip coefficient no less than 0.50 and tension creep not in excess of .005 inches (.13 mm). Contact Tnemec Technical Service for more information. Note: Using other products as primers or topcoats voids AISC requirements. Contact your Tnemec representative for specific recommendations.
Intermediate
Intermediate coat color should be noticeably different but in the same family as the topcoat color. Certain intermediate/topcoat systems may require multiple coats to achieve acceptable hiding, depending on color, specified thickness per coat and method of application. More information appears under Application Equipment.

Note: If Series 594 is exterior exposed for 6 months or more it must be scarified before topcoating with Series 66, N69, 73, 113, N140, 1074 & 1075. When topcoating with Series 25, 35, or 115, Series 44-900 additive must be used. Certain topcoat colors may not provide one-coat hiding depending on method of application. Contact your Tnemec representative.
